Day 1: Your arrival at Kathmandu will be welcomed heartily by company representative at the airport and transferred to hotel with a short briefing session reflecting ancient local tradition, shrines and temples found over here. Stay overnight in Kathmandu. (1000m)
Day 2 : Visit World Heritage site in Kathmandu including Kathmandu Durbar Square , Patan Durbar Square , Pasupatinath Temple, Bouddhanath, Swoyambhunath ( also called Monkey Temple) as a half day trip. Overnight stay in Kathmandu (1000m/2800ft)
Day 3: Drive from Kathnmandu to Pokhara takes about 6 hours. You will follow Marsyandi River, gently up through heavily terraced fields and small hill towns to the Seti River that takes you directly into Pokhara passing the way full of window sightseeing of hills and mountains on the way. Pokhara is tourist’s paradise with the watchful view of different mountainous range to be seen. Pokhara lakeside villages are situated in the front row center to one of the most beautiful Himalayan panoramas in the world. You spend your whole day watching famous fishtail mountain peak of Machhapucchre tower over tropical setting of Annapurna enjoying the Pokhara city by Fewa Lake witnessing the region of Annapurna range of Himalayas.
Day 4: You start our trek at Nayapul (1050m), an hour drive from Pokhara. After 20 Minutes walk along the Modi stream, you reach Birethanti (1065m), a beautiful village has plenty of tea shops and guests houses. You follow the left route through the village and continue heading to Ulleri (2070m) follows the bank of the Burungdi stream. You climb slightly upto the valley of Hile (1495m) and Tikhedhunga (1525m). This trail leads steep upto Ulleri, a large beautiful Magar Village through stone slabs. This trip, generally offers you a memorable experience to trek in Nepal.
Day 5 : Today , you will be driven to Ghorepani (2856m) from Ulleri , one of the popular destinations of this region trek , gently ascends upto Banthani (2250m ) through Oak and rhododendron forest passing . Mangathati (2460m) after approximately 5 Hours walk. You could see some of the wildlife such as monkeys and various species of birds. Stay overnight at lodge.
Day 6: Trek from Ghorepani to Punhill (3180m) to Tadapani (2675m) takes about 5 and half hour. Early morning trip to Punhill (3232m ) to enjoy the sunrise view over Mt Dhaulagiri (8167m) , Tukuche Peak (6920m), Nilgiri (6940m) Varaha Shikhar ( 7847m ) Mt Annapurna 1 (8091m ) , Annapurna South ( 7219m) , Annapurna 3 (7855m ) , Machhapuchhre (6993m) Annapurna 4 (7525m ), Annapurna 2 ( 7937m ) , Lamjung Himal to Tadapani (6931m ) and other numerous snowcapped mountain peaks. After breakfast trek Ghorepani to Tadapani (2650m). From here, you follow small forest with rhododendron and bamboos until you reach Deurali. The trail goes steepy down through deep forests all the way to Banthali. It takes one hour from here to reach Tadapani. Stay overnight at lodge.
Day 7: Trek to Chomrong (2020m) following descends down to Kimrong stream (1700m) through the village of Gurjung. Chomrong offers you close views of Mt .Annapurna south and Hiun Chuli and virgin peak fishtail. Stay Overnight at lodge.
Day 8: Trek to Dovan decending down to Chomrong stream, and again heading upto Dovan crossing through silent rhododrendron forest. High above the Modi Khola, on its west bank, the trail passes through the tiny settlement of Tilicho. Decend a long, steep stone staircase into deep Bamboo and rhododrendron forest. It is then, a short distance in muddy trail to Bamboo Lodge (2340m).
Day 9: Today your trip trek to Deurali (3200m) through rhododrendron and bamboo forest. The first town you reach is Dovan (2630m) where there are few lodges and camp sites. After a short trek, you will reach Himalayan Hotel (2900m), the town name after the Hotel Himalayan. Apart from, the trial steepy ascends upto Hinco cave (3160m). It takes approximately 20 Minutes through normally ascent path to reach Deurali (3230m). The trail is the most stretch subject to avalanche. Stay overnight.
Day 10: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4131m). Today, your trek begins with climbs to Machhapucchare Base camp (3900m) and Annapurna Base camp.This area is also known as Annapurna Sanctuary. This area gives you spectacular views of Himalayas including Annapurna 1, Annapurna South, and Baraha Sikhar. It is about 5 hour’s trek much easier going down. Stay overnight at lodge.
Day 11: Trek back to Sinuwap. Your ramble starts down from Annapurna Base camp after taking 6 hours walk. The path is decent up to bamboo passing through forests with varieties of rhododrendron, Oak and Bamboo plants. Therefore the trail goes steeply upto Kuldi Ghar and now the trail is quite flat until you reach Sinwa with the unwilt rememberance of Annapurna South and giant Himalayan Peaks seen from that place.
Day 12: Trek to Jhinudada and swim with hot water. Your trek gradually descends to the Chomrong Khola and you have to follow stone staircase for almost an hour to reach Chummrong. The last part of trail is a steep descend to Jhinudada. From the town you walk down for 20 minutes to reach hot spring at the bank of Modi Khola. Stay overnight at lodge.
Day 13: Trek from Jhinudada to Birethanti (1025m) takes about five hours. The trail gradually descends all the way to Birethanti along the Bank of Modi Khola. In Route you pass through forests, rice terraces, water falls and green scenarios. Birethanti is small town with few lodges, shops and human settlement. You walk 20 Minutes through flat path up to Nayapul. Here you board vehicle to drive back to Pokhara that takes about one and half hour. Stay overnight at Pokhara.
Day 14: Explore Pokhara Valley visiting most of the popular destination of Pokhara including Davis Falls, Cave, World Peace Stupa, and join boating at Phewa Lake. Stay overnight at lodge or in hotel
Day 15: Drive back from Pokhara to Kathmandu which takes about 6 hours. While driving from Pokhara to Kathmandu, you head to Damauli, Dhumre, Khaireni, Muglin, Kuringtar etc. En –route you could enjoy the mountain views, green sceneries, rice terraced fields, vegetable field in both sides of river bank, and involvement of people in daily lives. From Naubise, you climb upto Thankot, sloppy up to the gateway to Kathamandu. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 16: Freeday in Kathmandu, stay overnight at hotel. |
