Dhaulagiri Region Trekking.
Dhaulagiri region considered to be one of the most remote places of the kingdom of Nepal, has abundance of Himalayan Peaks, hidden valleys, high passes and sweeping vistas. The Himalayan journey is quiet peaceful and full of adventure and excitement. Trekking in this area is relatively strenuous but trekking willing to spend their holidays amid nature and natural surrounding full of peace and tranquility choose this off the beaten track, trekking destination.
Dhaulagiri is new territory for trekkers. Trekking off the main path is not only possible, but can be immensely rewarding, though you need a sense of adventure and increases ability to deal with the unexpected. Geographically, Dhaulagiri region is a land of dramatic contrast. From near tropical Pokhara valley to steep slope climb to snow capped Himalayan giant. Dhaulagiri 1 is the sixth highest peak of Nepal; it towers high above the well treks Muktinath pilgrim trail upto the Kaligandaki valley. The vast massif screens the hidden land of Dolpo to its north west. Following river up stream, ferns and forest of oak and other deciduous trees and juniper are interesting. Mountain side of Rhododendron blaze with color in the spring , and others flowers are abundant on the trail , even in the high mountain passes above the free line , tiny alpine forest can be found dotting the windswept around .
