Dudh Kunda Trek

A trek to Dudh Kunda passes through Kaku, Basa, Taksindu and Beni, taking you through dense forests of rhododendron and a variety of wildlife. Dudh Kunda (literally means milky lake) is believed to be a holy lake and the locals believe that taking a dip in the holy waters will have the wishes granted.

 

In this trek, we will have spectacular view of the Mt. Everest and many more from Pike Peak. 4651m.

Day 01 : Kathmandu to Jiri drive by bus about 10 hrs and stay over night.

Day 02 : Jiri trek to Shivalaya and stay over night

Day 03 : Shivalaya trek to Goli School and stay over night

Day 04 : GoliSchool trek to Goli gompa and stay over night

Day 05 : Goli Gompa trek to Pike Peak (4100m) and stay over night

Day 06 : Pike Peak trek to Junbensi and stay over night

Day 07 : Junbensi trek to Thupten Cholling Gompa short walk and rest and stay over night

Day 08 : Thupten Cholling Gompa trek to Yak Kharka and stay over night

Day 09 : Yak Kharka trek to Dudh Kunda and overnight

Day 10 : Dudh Kunda trek to Kharka and overnight

Day 11 : Kharka Trek to Kalala Danda and overnight

Day 12 : Kalala Danda trek to Khama and overnight

Day 13 : Khama trek to Thudung Bhanjyang and overnight

Day 14 : Thudung Bhanjyang trek to Jiri and overnight

Day 15 : Jiri to Kathmandu drive by Bus to Kathmandu
