Everest Base Camp Trek

The Everest Base Camp trek is a classic walk from Lukla to Kala Patar to the base camp of the world's highest mountain. It is a popular route, amongst some of the most breath-taking mountain scenery imaginable. The mountain views on this trek are arguably the best in Nepal. This trek aims to explore the Everest region thoroughly. The route follows the Dudh Koshi River to its source near the Gokyo lakes to Kala Patthar. After visiting the summit of Kala Patthar which affords superb views of Mt.Everest, the trek crosses the Chyugima La pass into the Everest base camp area. The route circles back via Thyangboche Monastery to Lukla for the return flight back to Kathmandu

Day 04: Fly to Lukla (2840m/30 mins) and trek to Phakding (2640m), 4 hrs Day 05: Namche Bazaar (3440m), 6 hrs Day 06: Namche Bazaar - rest day for acclimatization Day 07: Tyangboche, (3860m), 5 hrs Day 08: Dingboche, (4350m), 6 hrs Day 09: Chhukung (4732m) and back to Dingboche, 6 hrs Day 10: Lobuche (4925m), 6 hrs Day 11: Gorakshep (5170m) - Kalapatthar (5545m)-Gorakshep, 6 hrs Day 12: Everest base camp (5210m) - Gorakshep, 7 hrs Day 13: Pheriche (4280m), 6 hrs Day 14: Tyangboche (3860m), 4 hrs Day 15: Namchee Bazaar (3440m), 5 hrs Day 16: Lukla (2840m), 7hrs Day 17: Lukla - Kathmandu, fly 30 mins Day 18:Free day in Kathmandu, Shopping and farewell Dinner in Evening.
